![]() He Did it Again! “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me anything in my name, and I will do it.” John 14:12,13 Yes He will! God cannot lie and our lives are a testimony of His unfailing love and faithfulness to His word! I’ve been thanking and praising Him from the time we sought His continued provision to return home. And just like the faithful, loving Father He is, He has once again answered our prayers! In such a short period of time, we have been blessed with the necessary funds to return to the U.S.! And let me tell you, it wasn’t cheap, but our Heavenly Father is rich! We are so looking forward to reuniting with our friends and loved ones, but especially our brother, Archie. We plan to lay hands on him and watch a supernatural display of God’s healing power manifest right in front of our eyes! If you have been following our blog, we thank you for your support, shares and prayers and ask that you continue to link your faith with ours for God’s miraculous healing ability. We are claiming Archie's COMPLETE healing and WHOLENESS, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! We are confident that there WILL be a demonstration of The Holy Spirit in Pottsville, PA! Hallelujah! We just got back to Philadelphia Sunday night and we plan to update our blog with new posts very shortly, to keep you all in the loop. But we really just want to take this opportunity to give God ALL of the honor and glory for making a way where there was seemingly no way for us to return home! He is SO worthy of our praise and everything we can give Him. That is why we have decided to give Him our whole lives and He continues to make it well worth it! One thing that God has emphasized to us during our last 6 ½ months abroad in Thailand, is the importance of our faith, our thoughts, our words and our praise. All of these things are critical to receiving the manifestation of God’s plan for our lives. However, the key component to making all of that work for us is a close, intimate relationship with Christ. Just as we only reveal our deepest secrets to our closest friends, God too, will only reveal His plan to His closest friends. So, He’s always waiting and yearning to spend time with us - yes, the Creator of the universe, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Alpha and Omega, Saviour of the world, Lion of Judah and the ultimate Passover Lamb seeks alone time with little old you. It’s too beautiful and amazing for words the level of intimacy that is available to each and every one of us as God’s children. As you make time to connect with Him every day, throughout the day, He will begin to speak words of love and reassurance to your heart. The more you listen and truly receive those words, He will begin to remove old hurts and wounds you’ve accumulated in life. As you allow Him to heal you and change negative attitudes and thoughts, He’ll draw you into sweet repentance and forgiveness which will open the way for you to get even closer to Him. It’s at this wonderful stage that He will begin to reveal hidden secrets about the plans He has for you (aka revelation!). He’ll even begin to show you how HE sees you and gradually replace the old image you had of yourself with His perfect image. Bad habits, wrong thoughts, depression, low self-esteem and all other evil spirits that have oppressed you for years will begin to be cast out of your life. The bible says that “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” (1John 4:18) Fear is from the enemy and the closer you get to our Heavenly Father, those spirits have no choice but to leave! Darkness cannot inhabit the same space as light! So, if you have a need that can only be met by God, my prayer for you today is to “seek first the kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.” Our Father is faithful, loving, patient, kind and FULL of grace for us. That’s why it’s called amazing grace - because we don’t deserve it, yet He gives it to us in abundance. Spend time with the Lord today, let Him into your most painful places. Invite Him into that place that you wall off from the world. It’s no point in hiding behind walls when speaking to Him because He can see right through them anyway. If you are living in sin, pray that He grant you a spirit of repentance. This will allow you to be truly sorry and it will empower you to turn completely around from that sin and walk in the direction of Christ. And believe me, untold blessings, peace and joy await you on that road! Coming to America
One of my favorite scriptures is Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” As I continue my walk with Christ, my appreciation of this scripture grows. Personally, I have experienced this phenomenon as well as witnessed it in other people’s lives, how God miraculously takes all of our good and bad situations and weaves them into a perfect tapestry and testimony for His glory. It is this supernatural ability that gives me the utmost faith and confidence in God’s plan for my life. It is also this godly perspective that allows a believer to truly live a victorious life. This mindset is especially necessary when difficulties arise. I am so grateful for God preparing us in this area because Thomas and I are currently facing a very challenging time in our journey. About nine months ago, Thomas’ brother, Archie Moore, was diagnosed with colon cancer. Before we left the US we visited him several times in the hospital. Since then we have been praying for and with him on a regular basis. In a very short period of time, he has gone from relatively healthy to extremely ill. As a matter of fact, his medical team has given him mere days to live. Obviously, this is a devastating diagnosis and very difficult to hear. Especially, because Thomas considers his brother to be his spiritual role model. Thomas was closest to Archie out of his 4 brothers. He has always affectionately said that his brother was his first pastor. His walk with God has had a profound impact on Thomas and is partly the reason why he’s pastoring today. Even though Archie has been given a limited life expectancy by the medical professionals, we choose to believe the report of our Father, the Great Physician! We declare that Archie WILL live and NOT die and shall live to declare the works of the Lord. We believe that it is always the will of God to heal and deliver. Jesus never turned anyone away who asked for healing while He was on earth. The bible says that He is the same yesterday, today and forever and we serve that same Jesus, so we believe for Archie’s complete healing. We know that God is still in the miracle business and He loves to work in seemingly impossible situations. About a month ago, before he took a turn for the worse, Archie asked his daughter, Kanya to ask Thomas a very heart-wrenching question. He asked if Thomas could perform the eulogy at his funeral. This request was truly heartbreaking because we didn’t even want to entertain the possibility of him dying yet, we wanted to reassure him that we would heed his final wishes. It also spoke volumes about the mutual love and respect that he feels for Thomas, his younger brother. A few days ago, we received a communication stating that we should call him in order to say our final goodbyes. Once again, we were determined not to speak words of death to him. But we did call in order to express our love and encouragement. Throughout this entire time we have been praying together and individually for the manifestation of his complete healing. And we refuse to give up! It’s not over until God says it’s over! So, we plan to make the trip back to America very soon. It is our prayer and desire to see him as soon as possible in order to hug him as well as lay hands on him for healing. We believe that there will NOT be a funeral but a miraculous healing, in the name of Jesus! Once again, here is another opportunity to grow in our faith. Not only are we challenged to believe for a miracle in our brother’s life, but we also believe for a miracle in our funds so that we can make the trip back to America. As you’re probably aware of, we are in full-time ministry, completely reliant on God’s provision. It has been an amazing opportunity for us to clearly witness God’s hand of provision in our lives. For the last 6 months, he has not only sustained us but has provided ALL of our needs according to His riches and glory. We have not wanted for anything. He continues to show us on a daily basis that HE is the one that provides and meets our needs, and he has many ways of doing that. So far, the primary way he has done this is by touching the hearts of practical strangers to donate to our ministry. It’s truly awesome how God makes it so obvious that it’s Him that’s moving someone to give to us. We then try our best to be faithful in sharing our testimony so that He gets all of the glory for what He’s doing in our lives. This time is no different. We wholeheartedly believe that it is God's will for us to return home to encourage our brother. Actually, even before things took a turn for the worse with Archie, we were confessing on a daily basis that God would make a way for us to return to the states in order to visit with loved ones, share our experiences and get refreshed and restored for the next phase of our journey. And like usual, God is faithful. So, we continue to stand on the Word of God and maintain our faith in His ability to provide. Since He has lovingly positioned us to bless families abroad, here in Thailand, we are certain that He will make a way for us to minister to and support our own family. Even in this tough situation, we are fully convinced that God will cause all of these things to work together for our good. We'd like to thank everyone who has supported us in the past. We are praying for you and believing that as you offer sacrificial prayers and finances, God is making a way for you in your situations. We also thank you in advance for any donation that God puts on your heart to give us to return home to visit our brother, who is in critical condition. No amount is too small to assist in this effort. Click Here to Help It is our sincere prayer that your faith be increased and built up as you see how faithful God has been in our lives. Stepping out in faith to follow God is never as risky as it seems. Our Father will never let us fall because He’s holding us up with His righteous right hand! So, be encouraged today and believe that no matter how bad things look; God is working things out in your favor! |
